Transforming schools into vibrant centres of community life.
The Uprising Project believes schools should be the beating pulse of a village. The Community Learning Hubs Network does more than fix roofs and buy books; we work with ministries and local leaders to turn schools into safe, inspiring hubs for everyone. Our teams train teachers, upgrade classrooms and bring parents into the conversation. By creating a joyful environment for learning, we ensure that children in Kenya and Uganda don’t just attend school. We work to ensure that they love it, and they succeed.
Agriculture & Resilience

Helping farmers adapt and thrive in a changing world.
Farmers are the backbone of Africa, and the Uprising Project is here to help them stand tall. This accelerator supports smallholder farmers, especially women, to master climate-smart techniques that boost harvests and protect the land. We provide access to better seeds, water-saving tools and fair markets in Malawi and Zambia. It is about growing more than just crops; it is about growing confidence, income and food security for the future.
Orphans & Livelihoods

Strengthening the families that care for the most vulnerable.
Every child deserves a loving home. The Uprising Families initiative supports the incredible guardians, often grandmothers and aunts, who care for orphans and vulnerable children. We build up families. By providing guardians in Mozambique and Angola with “livelihood starter packs” like small livestock or craft materials, we help them generate a steady income. This keeps children in families, in school and surrounded by love.
Youth Employment & Innovation

Launching careers and businesses for the next generation.
Africa’s youth are bursting with ideas and energy. Our Labs in Ghana and Rwanda exist to channel that power into real-world success. We offer practical training in high-demand skills, including solar energy and digital services, specifically for young people and care leavers. Beyond training, we offer small innovation grants to launch youth-led businesses. The Uprising Project is investing in the job creators of tomorrow.
